Meditation Is Not Sitting Like A Monk

Thoughts become things.

Any thought -- anything we are conscious of persistently -- will eventually show up and become real and true in our lives.
Believe me, I have experienced the worst of what I thought!

This is why it is important for us to stop for a moment each day and NOT have thoughts.

Why? Everyday, our lives are filled with both negative and positive situations and feelings. Every thought that we have is an energy arrow, an infra-red signal which joins with other similar energy frequencies.

Therefore, the moment we stop thinking about something, we switch off that energy frequency. We then have a chance to switch to another frequency.

The moment we stop thinking about something, we stop shooting arrows. If we are busy shooting, how can we receive our blessings?

That moment that we stop actively 'thinking' -- I call that 'meditation.'

It may oppose the popular notion of "doing" the meditation act, that of sitting like a monk in a lotus position to meditate.

Meditation is not religious, even though it is expounded by major religions followed today. Even Christians who don't believe in meditation are defying the very statement in their holy scriptures that says, "Be still and know that I am God."

For the act of being 'still' is what meditation is about. Not thinking, not worrying, not wishing, not fearful, not concerned, not ecstatic.

The stillness means not thinking.

But it is not a statement that God (most think of God as a figure in the sky) is telling to us. It is in fact our TRUE NATURE telling us that when we are still, we are consulting 'I' -- our inner self -- our higher being -- the God in us.

For God the creator, the infinite intelligence is in us, and IS us -- all smelly, lying, foul-mouthed, hating us. God and I are ONE and the same.

God is the HQ. We are the branch offices. We ARE the God that is living life thru me, thru you, thru each and everybody and every thing.

So when you are NOT thinking, but focus on the task at hand, whether it's sitting quietly and watching the ocean, listening to the birds, looking at children play, or singing, making love, yes, that too... sewing, washing the dishes, sweeping the floor....

...when you are doing something WITHOUT thinking about the bills that are not paid, or resenting your spouse, your car that's broken down, the family member in the hospital, being angry at someone else...you get what I mean...

..then you are in meditation. You are in the now. You are not somewhere else, shooting off complex thoughts and feelings. You are here...doing this thing...now.

That moment when you are in meditation, it is the moment you hand over to HQ to act, orchestrate, organize and execute.

HQ can't reach you if you are busy. HQ can only support whatever you're doing. It is the blueprint of existence. HQ has empowered us and authorized us to run our own branch office, our own lives, the way we want it. HQ will support us WITHOUT fail.

HQ just supports you whatever you are thinking and feeling at every moment. Yes, even when we are thinking that we are the most stupidest, most unconfident, most ugliest, most broke, most out-of-luck bloke. HQ just supports us if we want to live that way and be that way.

It is called UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

So, now, really think and act consciously the kind of life you want to have, the kind of person you want to be. Meditate.

Don't worry about how, don't fret over the bills that are not paid, don't be afraid of someone stopping you...

Be conscious of what you are thinking everyday. What kind of energy arrows are you shooting?

Then stop. Meditate. Let HQ do its part and send it over to you to run at branch office.

Don't Tell Me The Ending!

Don't tell me the ending!

That's what a lot of us would say to those who've watched the movie before us.

"You better not tell me the ending!" No, we wanna be surprised!

Have you heard that people have been beaten up for daring to shout out the ending to moviegoers lining up in the lobby for the next show?

THE END -- those iconic words that appear on the screen at the end of a movie. Two simple words that symbolize the end of an experience, etch either a satisfaction or distaste in our spirit whenever we get up to leave the theatre. It could be the decisive point of a star rating by any movie critic.

Very often, a writer would start writing but have a problem ending. I know I did. For years, I would attempt to start a fictional story but I didn't know how to continue it till the end. So, as a result, I haven't become a novelist.

Moviemakers have often had to edit more than one version of a movie for the different world markets that they hope to screen in. Why? Because some endings are deemed unacceptable to certain cultures.

Well, for me, the strong message of how "the end" is so important in one's life started one night, after some beer, whisky and wine at a bar. Someone that I recently befriended, a successful and wise guy my age, took my palm and started looking at it for clues. In case you start guessing, nope, I can assure you that I am not his type. He merely wanted to see if I was a good prospect to be in business with.

What he said to me got me confused. He told me that I had to trust in someone even if it's risky. "Then True Love Comes."

At first, I started arguing with him over his statement, but after that, thinking, it slowly sank in.

That was so hard for me to accept. But that signified the end to a search.

We all desire, wish, chase and hope for something in our lives. Some people can see their goals very clearly. Some people are still wondering and truly become wandering spirits in this world. But there's no denying that everyone desires for something that could make us happy. Have you ever met someone who said "All I ever want is to be unhappy"?

I then further discovered a spiritual teacher, Neville Goddard, and listened to an old audio recording of his on YouTube over and over again, "Live In The End." What in the world does that mean?

Well, it basically reveals to us that our power or failure is to be able to picture what we want in the end -- the end of a week, the end of a forty-year hardship, the end of a desire, the end of a hoping, of a search, of a question.

Yes, picture the end of that which you wish for -- without any wavering in your belief, without any doubts. Then, miraculously, an invisible, all-knowing energy will "work it backwards" ...then "fast it forward" to get you to that spot that you have pictured as "The End."

Try it and see if it works. If you could have whatever you want, tell yourself what that ending should be.

The End.
